New York YPEM Cornhole Classic 2023
On Friday, July 21, 2023, professionals gathered at Chelsea Piers Field House for New York YPEM Cornhole Classic 2023. Players, spectators, sponsors and volunteers came together to support EMF’s Research Fund at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and SAMFund grant program for young adults struggling from the financial impacts of cancer.
A special thank you to the highest fundraiser, New York YPEM Leadership team member, Nameeta Kamath Baxter from Morgan Stanley with a fundraising total of over $2,000!
Teams of 2-4 battled for the trophies in the cornhole competition while spectators relaxed and watched the festivities. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a variety of drinks from Anheuser-Busch, Hangobi, Spritz Society, Titos, Wild Basin and Whalers, complemented by food from Bottino and John’s of Bleecker Street.
EMF extends a huge thank you to all of the event players, spectators, sponsors, food and beverage donors, and especially the volunteers who donated their time to support New York YPEM Cornhole Classic 2023 and EMF’s mission and help create a better today and brighter tomorrow for the cancer community.

About Young Professionals Expect Miracles
Young Professional Expect Miracles [YPEM] is a group of the next generation of financial executives (ages 21-39) who are dedicated to advancing the fight against cancer. Members include rising leaders and professionals in the industry who are committed to rallying the financial community and beyond to support the mission of EMF.
With cohorts in Boston and New York City, YPEM provides volunteer opportunities and hosts fundraisers and networking events (both virtual and in person) to bring the young financial community together to make a positive impact in the cancer community.

Young Professionals Expect Miracles (YPEM) is a group comprised of the next generation of professionals (ages 21-39) who are dedicated to advancing the fight against cancer. YPEM events together a segment of the financial services industry to make a positive impact in the cancer community.
This is an opportunity to do good while building your career in the financial services industry. Attend an event and discover an enhanced professional life infused with purpose.
Funds raised through YPEM events support some important initiatives in the fight against cancer. 75% of net proceeds are directed to The SAMFund, Expect Miracles Foundation’s fund that provides grants to young adult cancer survivors. 25% is directed to cancer research for Boston, at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and for NYC, at Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Cancer Center.
