SAMFund Grants Fall 2024 Help 111 Young Adults
Expect Miracles Foundation (EMF) is thrilled to announce that 111 young adults have been awarded over $275,000 in SAMFund grants in Fall 2024. These grants are designed to alleviate the financial burdens faced by young cancer survivors, covering critical living expenses such as rent or mortgage payments, car loans, continuing education, and family building expenses like IVF, surrogacy, and adoption.

At a time when many are just beginning their careers, striving for financial independence, and working to build a stable future, a cancer diagnosis can halt their progress. Treatment often requires time off work, which in turn drains limited savings – leaving survivors grappling with mounting debt. These financial struggles continue long after treatment ends.
SAMFund Family Building Grants helped supplement the enormous expenses related to fertility treatment, adoption, surrogacy or fertility preservation, one of the biggest stressors for survivors in the young adult population.
