New York YPEM Battle of the Bartenders 2023
Expect Miracles Foundation [EMF] extends a huge thank you to everyone who came and supported New York YPEM Battle of the Bartenders 2023 on September 20, 2023 at Tailor Public House. Because of your support, we raised over $23,000 for EMF’s Research Fund at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and EMF’s SAMFund Grant Program for young adults struggling from the financial impacts of cancer.
Congratulations to Matty Collins, New York YPEM Leadership Team member, of Morgan Stanley for being crowned New York YPEM’s Best Bartender of 2023. Matty raised a record amount of $2,625 in tips!
Congratulations to Morgan Stanley for winning Top Firm. New York Leadership Team members Matty Collins, Nick Cortese and Nameeta Kamath Baxter and their guest bartenders Dan Herceg, Rich Ellard, Alyssah Mohammed and Andrew Borts worked together to raise over $9,500!

Young Professional Expect Miracles [YPEM] is a group of the next generation of financial executives (ages 21-39) who are dedicated to advancing the fight against cancer. Members include rising leaders and professionals in the industry who are committed to rallying the financial community and beyond to support the mission of EMF.
With cohorts in Boston and New York City, YPEM provides volunteer opportunities and hosts fundraisers and networking events (both virtual and in person) to bring the young financial community together to make a positive impact in the cancer community.

Young Professionals Expect Miracles (YPEM) is a group comprised of the next generation of professionals (ages 21-39) who are dedicated to advancing the fight against cancer. YPEM events together a segment of the financial services industry to make a positive impact in the cancer community.
This is an opportunity to do good while building your career in the financial services industry. Attend an event and discover an enhanced professional life infused with purpose.
Funds raised through YPEM events support some important initiatives in the fight against cancer. 75% of net proceeds are directed to The SAMFund, Expect Miracles Foundation’s fund that provides grants to young adult cancer survivors. 25% is directed to cancer research for Boston, at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and for NYC, at Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Cancer Center.
