“Like so many, cancer has become devastatingly familiar for my family and friends. Last year, I lost one of the most important people in my life to complications from cancer, an unexpected and heartbreaking loss for our family. My uncle could light up a room with his epic laugh and loved us fiercely. Running became a huge part of my life for physical and mental health, and now it helps me connect with my uncle even when he’s gone. I am immensely grateful to be teaming up with the Expect Miracles Foundation!”
