I help plan, launch and fulfill our grant program for young adult cancer survivors. With education and training as a social worker, I work closely with grant recipients, lending them support with the application process. This includes coordinating the payouts of grant awards and serving as the main point of contact for grantees throughout the process. When not at work, I’m exploring everything Boston has to offer. I relocated from the Bay Area in California, and am enjoying discovering everything New England has to offer!
I work at Expect Miracles Foundation because…
Prior to joining EMF, I worked in a hospital oncology department and saw the emotional and financial difficulties young adults face when battling a cancer diagnosis. At EMF I get to directly help those facing the financial toxicity that can result from cancer treatment.
