Financial Services Cup 2023
It was a beautiful day on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 to play in Expect Miracles Foundation’s coveted Financial Services Cup 2023! Twenty of the top financial services industry leaders gathered at Black Rock Country Club in Hingham, MA to play in a Ryder Cup-style format with handicap scoring hosted by Frank Strauss, Founder and Chairman of the Board of EMF.
As the golfers were arriving in the early afternoon, most went to go warm up on the driving range to perfect their golf swing before competing for the Financial Services Cup 2023 trophy! Before the friendly golf competition began, everyone was able to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch while networking and engaging in great conversation.

During the post golf reception, guests enjoyed the open bar, small plates, and dessert. Then it was time for the losing team’s captain, Gary Enos, to award the winning team’s captain, Ken Starr, with the Financial Services Cup trophy. Not only did Ken speak about the wonderful golf day everyone just partook in, but he talked about the importance of EMF’s life-saving mission. 100% of the funds raised from this event go directly to EMF’s Discovery Fund and SAMFund Grant Program.
