2026 Impact Celebration
Celebrating $1.8M Raised at the New York Stock Exchange
A record number of supporters gathered at the New York Stock Exchange for Expect Miracles Foundation’s [EMF] 2026 Impact Celebration, generously hosted by ICE Data Services. The evening, held on May 28, 2026, brought together top fundraisers, Miracle Makers, corporate sponsors, and researchers from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to recognize the extraordinary impact this community continues to make in the fight against cancer. The event also celebrated the annual success of the Foundation’s Distance Challenge, which achieved a record-breaking $1.8 million raised in 2026.
Honoring Two Decades of Support from ICE Data Services
Ed Addvensky, Director Emeritus of EMF and Vice President of Global Client Development at ICE Data Services, opened the evening. He reflected on the nearly 20-year partnership between ICE Data Services and EMF, highlighting how the Foundation’s events have strengthened industry relationships while giving employees a meaningful cause to rally behind.
Momentum: The Theme of the Evening
EMF’s Executive Director Frank Heavey then introduced the evening’s theme: momentum. That momentum was on full display at the NYSE, where we welcomed a record-breaking 236 attendees, the highest attendance at this event. The room was filled with supporters whose dedication continues to advance breakthrough cancer research and provide support for young adult cancer survivors.

A New Breakthrough League Unveiled
Founder and Chairman Frank Strauss reintroduced EMF’s Impact Ribbons to recognize the many ways members of our community contribute to the mission. He also unveiled a new distinction: the Breakthrough League Ribbon, awarded to Distance Challenge participants who have surpassed $15,000 in lifetime fundraising. The ribbon celebrates an extraordinary level of commitment and impact within the EMF community.
Distance Challenge Reaches New Heights
EMF’s Director of Development Maggie Dombroski honored the winners of the 2026 Distance Challenge and presented awards recognizing their achievements. She highlighted a record-breaking year in which 2,285 participants from 21 countries traveled more than 47,000 miles and raised more than $1.8 million for EMF, the most ever raised in Distance Challenge history.
