Money Management Executive: 14th Annual Expect Miracles Golf Classic

Mutual Funds Against Cancer, now in its 14th year, held its largest annual event of every year, the “Expect Miracles Golf Classic,” on June 13 at the majestic Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, Mass. More than 450 executives competed on three different golf courses, raising an impressive record $600,000. The association, which donates all of its proceeds to the Center for Applied Cancer Science at the Belfer Institute for Innovative Cancer Science, part of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, expects to raise more than $1 million this year.

GOOD WORKS: Companies giving back to the community

On June 12, the 14th annual Mutual Funds Against Cancer Expect Miracles Golf Classic presented by Interactive Data Corporation was held at Pinehills and Waverly Oaks Country Club in Plymouth, Mass. More than 450 business and fi nancial executives and 100 company sponsors helped to raise over $600,000. Former New England Patriot and cancer survivor Joe Andruzzi delivered the keynote speech at the dinner reception.
